Natalie Michalak
Natalie serves as the interim director for Georgetown University’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Prior to joining OEM in May 2020, Natalie specialized in public health emergency preparedness and response as the emergency planner for the Prince William Health District. Natalie is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), has completed the FEMA Emergency Management Basic Academy, earned a bachelor’s degree in community health from George Mason University, and a master’s degree in emergency and disaster management from the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.

Sarah Mariotti
Sarah serves as the emergency management specialist for Georgetown University’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Prior to joining OEM in September 2024, Sarah specialized in local emergency preparedness and response as the emergency management coordinator for Clear Creek County in Colorado. Sarah is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), has earned a bachelor’s degree in health policy and administration from Pennsylvania State University and holds two master’s degrees, one in emergency and disaster management, and the other in public health from Thomas Jefferson University.
