Emergency Alerting Systems

Georgetown University will alert you of emergencies using HOYAlert. It is important for all members of the Georgetown community to familiarize themselves with the alerting system and what actions to take during an emergency. There are also regional alerting systems that will inform you about emergency situations in the DC metro area that may impact the Georgetown community, allowing you to avoid impacted areas and/or take appropriate action.
